A new year is a time for new beginnings. If 2014 was a difficult year, it can be a time to close one chapter in your life and start another. Even if 2014 was a great year, it can still be a time to focus on an area in your life that you want to change. Of course, you can do these things at any time of the year, it doesn’t have to be at the new year, but the holiday can provide the inspiration, motivation, and sense of renewal you need to get going.
And the McAllen Public Library is a great place to start! No matter what your goal is- getting in better shape, eating healthier, saving money, recovering from a breakup, improving your self-confidence, improving your communication skills, reducing stress- we have books that can help you take the first step towards a new beginning and a new life. Who knew you could accomplish so much at the library!
Click on the titles below to see the catalog record for each book, where you can put them on hold or save them to a favorites list. All you need is a library card and pin number! Click here for information about getting a library card.
Another insightful, entertaining post! Thank you Ms. Librarian, la Bibliotecaria!
